England's Golf Coast

England’s Golf Coast is home to 18 of the most challenging and naturally beautiful golf courses in Britain. It also boasts some of the country’s most vibrant cities, exciting tourist attractions, breathtaking coastline and picturesque countryside.

Stretching from Cumbria and the Lake District in the north down to the Wirral and Chester in the south, this golfing nirvana offers visitors a jaw-dropping 200 golf courses to choose from, all of which are easily accessible by road, rail networks and International Airports at Liverpool, Blackpool and Manchester.

In total, England’s Golf Coast boasts three of the top 20 and seven of the top 50 courses in the UK and Ireland and four of the links courses are among the WORLD’S Top 80! as well as being home to three of thfinest Open Championship courses – Royal Birkdale, Royal Liverpool and Royal Lytham & St Annes. Together these world-famous venues have hosted the Open Championship on no fewer than 30 occasions since 1897. In addition to these illustrious clubs, England’s Golf Coast also features six regular Open Qualifying venues and a number of championship courses that have staged men’s and women’s Tour events.
