Well fall is finally here and as usual we have a lot going on at Britannia Golf. This is the perfect time to start planning your next year’s golf trip to Scotland or Ireland, especially to secure tee times at places like St. Andrews Old Course and Royal County Down.
We are also happy to announce another Escorted golf tour back to South West Ireland in July 2013. Space is limited and these trips typically fill up fast. It’s a perfect trip for anyone in the U.S. that would like to join a group, meet some new friends and experience the best links golf that SW Ireland has to offer. Please contact us for more information or to sign up.
The thrilling finale to this year’s Ryder Cup has sparked a lot of interested for people going across the pond to watch the next one which takes place at Gleneagles, Scotland in September 2014. We will keep you posted with packages available in the coming months. Also recently announced was the venue for 2020 Ryder Cup ~ Whistling Straits, Wisconsin. If you haven’t been there before it’s a truly great golf experience. In addition to the Straits course, they also have the Irish course and Blackwolf Run composed of the River and Meadow courses, which was host to this year’s US women’s Open.
If you haven’t heard about Trump’s new course in Scotland, you will. The much anticipated Trump International, near Aberdeen opened this summer and is getting rave reviews. With this addition, the North of Scotland has become a must visit, as well as other great courses like Royal Dornoch, Cruden Bay and Castlestuart to name a few.
We hope everyone is doing well and hope to hear from you in the not so distant future.
